Farel was carried forward by a heavenly vision of Christ, the perfect and unique Savior. He refused with his last energy any compromise with error or human additions to the gospel, useless rites and paralizing hierarchies. He was opposed to the theological syncretism and pluralism much in vogue today. Truly this man of the 16th century has much to teach us. |
