This new book by Erich Sauer, author of the two immensely popular books, Dawn of World Redemption and Triumph of the Crucified, is an outline of die divine purposes as they are revealed in die Holy Scriptures. As a guide book to the book of mankind, From Eternity to Eternity sets forth in matchless clarity and with great power of insight the historical unit)' of die Bible and the general, great periods of salvation.
Here the unfolding of the history of salvation is viewed in the special history of the Divine methods of revelation, the history of the temples of God, the history of Israel, the history of the nations as to salvation, the history of the Messiah, the "days” of God, and the various final judgments. To the exposition of this historical point of view are added two further parts which deal with the question of the inspiration of the Bible (which gives the historical matters their basic warrant), and the Millennium (which justifies the character and structure of the historical outlook). Together with the interesting five-color prophetic chart attached to the back of the book, Erich Sauer’s From Eternity to Eternity graphically illustrates the underlying pattern and roots of the unfolding of the history of salvation so that the beginner as well as the mature Christian may easily grasp this clear and compelling vision of the Divine purposes. |
