Résumé : |
Ralph Winter’s big book on Theological Education by Extension was published in 1969. It is the symbol of a worldwide interest in this new idea for theological training, and its handmaid, programmed learning. In a few years TEE schemes could be counted by scores.
Programming was founded by the World Evangelical Fellowship in 1971 with the object of helping writers of programmed learning materials, by providing simple accounts of techniques and also keeping them in touch with new ideas. This book is a selection from the articles published in Programming from 1971 to 1975. A glance at the table of contents will show its ground plan. The first section comprises articles on the techniques of linear programmed texts: this is still the commonest type of programmed material. The second section deals with the question of sharing PIM — an article which was originally written for the Third Theological Consultation of TAP-Asia held in Hong Kong. The third part is more theoretical, for programming has not stood still over the years. |
