How much is fact and how much is fancy in the history of the theory of evolution ?
And if one may apply the test of results, what has been its effect on men and nations, and therefore on history? Darwin influenced the world, but how much ? What circumstances led to his abandoning Christianity after originally preparing for the Christian ministry? What is the natural conclusion following an acceptance of his theory?
