Résumé : |
The focus of this theological case study is the doctrine and the experience of the Holy Spirit. After a period in the early twentieth century in which the Fatherhood of God was given prominence, there followed in the middle period of the century the Christological revolution of neo-Reformation theology in which the person of Christ was given the central place. The last third of the century has yet to be theologically characterized. But there are voices and movements urging the church to see in the person and work of the Holy Spirit the proper focus for the new age.
Among the more successful of these voices in the contemporary world mission of the church is the international Pentecostal movement, and it is particularly with reference to this movement that Professor Bruner develops his analysis of A Theology of the Holy Spirit. |
