Some of the big issues of the Congress — culture, church, mission, social responsibility, dialogue and presence, moratorium, leadership, worldliness — are taken up here and developed. The fact that ten of the fifteen contributors are Third World citizens or residents introduces a freshness of perspective and a pungency of comment to which the rest of us (especially from Europe and North America) need to pay close and humble attention.” |
