‘The problem of the unevangelized has always perplexed the Church. Certainly it is a problem to many in these days; the more so because universalism has many adherents and is persuasively argued.
‘We have been in need of an up-to-date, clearly written, succinct account of the subject and this book will be widely welcomed accordingly. There is here not some revolutionary new approach, but a reasoned and careful study of the relevant Scripture passages.
