Résumé : | “The message of this book,” says Harold Ockenga, “reflects my own experience and deep conviction. I was a Christian for some years, was preaching the Gospel, was experiencing fruit in my ministry before I felt the deep need and the compelling necessity of waiting to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Once this happened through understanding of my need, of the Scripture and of the formula of the Spirit-filled life, the entire quality of my spiritual experience was changed. It is not my purpose to apply any personal experience as a standard for other believers’ spiritual lives, but this personal experience led me to study the Scripture, to read the spiritual biographies of other Christians, and to come to the conclusion that it is necessary for Christians to enter the deeper life by a critical experience if they are to enjoy all God has for them.” |
