The purpose of this Album is to illustrate the story of the Tabernacle which was carried thro’ the Wilderness, and of the early Temples that have stood on Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem, from the time of King Solomon, thro' the years of the Jewish captivities and down to the present Mosque of Omar which rests on the same site as the Temple of old.
By these we may see the many changes of scenes and the various buildings that have stood on the said Mount up to the present day. |
