It will not be taken amiss if the view is hazarded that it is the most outstanding contribution so far. It has long been the opinion of the reviewer that this is the most authoritative exposition of the eschatology of Jesus that has been written ... Whatever qualifications the reader may make on reading this book, he will find in it a guide through the maze of eschatological discussion such as may be seen in few modern works’ (Dr G. R. Beasley-Murray in Baptist Times). |
