Résumé : |
A careful, detailed, and scholarly study of all theological truths taught by the apostle John in his gospel, his three letters, and in the Revelation.
The purpose of this book is to present the doctrinal content of the Johannine literature. The book is developed around one major theme—the person and work of Christ. The theme unfolds in three distinct theological lines: salvation (with primary emphasis in the gospel), the Christian life (with primary emphasis in the epistles), and the last things (with primary emphasis in the Apocalypse). An extensive bibliography is included in this volume, as well as four indexes that deal with Greek words, authors, subjects, and Scripture references. The Theology of John will be a beneficial study for Bible scholars as well as laymen who desire an in-depth understanding of the writings of John. |
