The World Convocation on Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Création took place in March 1990 in Séoul, the Republic of Korea. The debates, however, continue.
Many of the documents prepared during the process leading up to the convocation are now out of print and some materials presented at the event are not readily available in English. The intention of this book is to help the continuing debate by making ail the JPIC resource materials available in one volume. The materials are presented in four sections: worship, méditations and sermons, messages, and ecumenical responses which includes some of the major documents produced during the JPIC process. Together they capture the convocation’s common positions and unresolved tensions which continue to make Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Création one of the most important ecumenical concerns of the decade. |
