This official report of the World Conference on Mission and Evangelism, held in Melbourne, May 1980, now makes available to a wider audience the most up-to-date discussions by persons intimately involved in confronting the mission of the Church in our day.
In addition to the reports of the four sections (Good News to the Poor, The Kingdom of God and Human Struggles, The Church Witnesses to the Kingdom, Christ—Crucified and Risen—Challenges Human Power), the book includes 16 essays exploring facets of the conference theme, not only biblically, but also in regard to its relevance to the issues in and behind the headlines today and tomorrow.
