Résumé : | Rev. F. Ross Kinsler, Ph. D., arrived in Guatemala in 1964 as a Presbyterian missionary assigned to the faculty of the Presbyterian Seminary of Guatemala. The extension program of that institution, now known throughout the world, was then in its second year and still struggling to survive. One of the most urgent needs was to develop self-study textbooks, and one of the author's early attempts was an Inductive Study of the Book of Mark, in Spanish, a traditional workbook, 100 pages long, which has been tested by several institutions in Latin America. The present text, in English, is 3 times as long, has an entirely new format, and comes out of 7 years of teaching in and writing for the Guatemalan extension program. |
