Résumé : |
Can there be adequate historical evidence for the central claims of Christianity - especially that Jesus rose from the dead?
Does the Bible contradict the teaching of modern science about the formation and evolution of living things? Has the church always tended to suppress free thinking and objective scientific research? These three questions raise issues that are central to the current debate about the relationship between modern science and the Christian faith. Carefully and clearly, the authors examine the biblical, historical and scientific evidence. Their conclusions are at times startling - both for believers and for those enquiring yet unconvinced about the central teachings of orthodox Christianity. |
