Résumé : |
The primacy of the pope has been a major theological issue between the churches for several centuries. This book explores ways in which churches can move toward a common understanding of primacy in the church today.
This fifth volume in the Lutherans and Catholics in Dialogue series presents the background meaning and future implications of the Common Statement on papal primacy developed by members of the Lutheran Catholic Dialogue panel. Papal Primacy and the Universal Church continues the discussion introduced by Peter in the New testament, and is published under the sponsorship of the USA National Committee of the Lutheran World Federation and the Catholic Bishops' Committee for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs. |
