Résumé : |
First published in 1948, this book continues to serve as an introduction to the philosophical-theological concepts of the evangelical Trinitarian faith.
In order to construct this apologetic, Dr. Carnell begins by considering the basic predicament of man. He examines such problems as the nature of truth, the definition of faith, and the means of proof. After establishing a foundation for Christian belief, he proceeds to discuss the implications of the Christian world-view by considering questions concerned with biblical criticism, the relation between Christianity and science, miracles and the natural law, the question of evil, ethical problems, the resurrection, and immortality. |
