Résumé : |
The aggadah literature, which was composed primarily in Eretz Israel in the first centuries of the Common Era, has roots projecting down to Biblical times and extending into the 13th or 14th centuries, and is a reflection of the literary and cultural world of the sages of the Talmud and thereafter.
This book describes briefly the major different literatures and cultures that have influenced the aggadic literature and vice-versa. The book contains numerous examples that were chosen primarily because of their interest to the modern reader. |
