Résumé : |
The pages that follow recall in words and photographs some of what has been said and done over the past forty years by the churches who have sought to fulfill together their common calling in the fellowship of the World Council of Churches.
Inevitably, the portrait that emerges here is fragmentary. Forty years is too long a time to do justice to in 75 pages. And forty years is not long enough a vantage point from which to be confident about what was more and what was less important (if indeed one can ever confidently measure things like "importance”). |
