When the apostle Paul, in Romans chapter 11, introduces the plan of God with Israel and the nations, he portrays the image of an olive tree and calls it "The Mystery." He is so astonished by the wisdom of God that he cries out: "Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?" (Romans 11:33-34). Johannes Fichtenbauer reveals this mystery in his book.
