Derek Prince relates the way in which God led him into marriage - first with Lydia; then, after Lydia's death, with Ruth.
The first time, I really did not understand what God had done. Then, when the process was repeated in my second marriage, I came to realize that God had followed the very same pattern He Himself had established at the dawn of human history - a pattern He has ordained to stand unchanged until human history reaches its consummation.' DEREK PRINCE married Lydia at the end of the Second World War. They remained together until her death in 1975. (Part of their story is told in Appointment in Jerusalem). In 1978 he married Ruth, a divorcee, and God has richly blessed the ministry they now share. |
