Résumé : | Dr. Leon Morris has not attempted to produce a connected account of the whole of the Passion narrative in the four Gospels hut has aimed at presenting the picture as St. Matthew, one of the Twelve, saw it. He has the special gift of focusing the reader’s thoughts on aspects differing from the usual treatment of the Passion story. Well-known passages assume a new meaning and the reader will gain a deeper understanding of the story. While the book is intended for devotional use by the general reader, the scholarly background is evident throughout and ministers will find the exposition useful in their own sermon preparation. |
