| Résumé : |
Two former "insiders" look at the beliefs of a very popular theology of today. Both men are former students of Dallas Theological Seminary
“Because of their [Crenshaw and Gunn] intimate and extensive knowledge of that system, and because they themselves were not easily convinced to leave it, they neither caricature opposing views, nor give “easy” answers. They go to the heart of the system, show its foundational principles, and demonstrate that it is contrary to Scripture.” - DAN MORSE The church faces its greatest threat today: the anger of te secular humanists who want to control education, taxes, abortion of our children, in short, every area of society. It is the authors’ strong conclusion that the church will be triumphant but to do so the “troops” must be rallied. It is also the conviction of the authors that a great weakness lies within the church, a pessimism that makes the church anemic, temporarily holding it back from its victory, causing the members to cower from the battles ahead for fear of defeat. It is this theology that the authors challenge, believing that JESUS IS LORD of the world instead of Satan! This is an open letter to the dispensational brethren, that if they do not see the errancy of the whole system that they will at least see that we must confront the devil now, for “God will soon crush Satan under OUR feet” (Rom. 16:20)! - PUBLISHERS |
